K-9 Caring Angels is a 501c non-profit with a mission is to provide as many Psychiatric Service Dogs (Warrior Angels) to our military personnel who suffer with PTSD, a major cause of increased suicide rates, averaging one every 65 minutes according to the Veterans Administration. PTSD can also make it hard for the soldier or veteran to adjust to daily life, family, job and friends… Our Warrior’s Angels serve as an important part of the healing process.
Our Warrior’s Angels are also used to help human trafficking survivors, trauma survivors and children with special needs to promote healing and a better quality of life not only for the survivors but also for their support network of family and friends.
We also discovered a need to train & provide facility dogs for our first responders, who’s suicide deaths exceed deaths due to the danger of the job itself. These dogs are therapy dogs that live on site and provide comfort and camaraderie to help these everyday heroes through the challenges and tragedy they witness and work through.
These dogs are purchased, raised and trained, loved and cultivated by us to make sure that we offer the best service animal possible. The funds raised for K-9 Caring Angels go toward providing these dogs to those in need.
